Damage Estimator & Claims Specialist

About the role

HMD Trucking is looking for an experienced Damage Estimator & Claims Specialist to join its Skopje office. The role involves preparing accurate damage estimates for trucks and trailers, reviewing third‑party estimates, and supporting the full claims process from reporting to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed damage estimates based on photographs, accident reports and supporting documentation.
• Conduct desk reviews of third‑party repair estimates to verify labor, parts, procedures and costs.
• Identify inaccurate or excessive charges and recommend adjustments.
• Communicate with repair facilities, insurance carriers, adjusters and internal departments.
• Assist with property damage and vehicle claims throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Professional experience preparing truck and trailer damage estimates.
• Proven ability to review and negotiate third‑party repair estimates.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, labor operations and parts.
• Experience in claims handling or the insurance industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Adjust Rite (estimating software).
• Proficiency with estimating software tools.
