Data Analyst – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our fully remote, Europe‑based team at StartupBlink. You will work closely with the Data Manager, Development team and CEO on high‑impact projects that support our flagship Startup Ecosystem Ranking and other research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Research, process and analyse datasets for various organisational projects, including the annual Startup Ecosystem Ranking report.
• Build and deliver reports for internal and external stakeholders, turning data into actionable insights.
• Maintain and enhance Python scripts and the underlying data infrastructure.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and passionate about economic development and startup ecosystems.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Interest in long‑term growth within a close‑knit, fun team.
• Previous experience in startup‑related organisations is a strong plus.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python (Pandas).
• Familiarity with Python data‑visualisation libraries such as Matplotlib.
• Experience with Linux shell commands and ETL processes.
