Financial Controller – Global Finance Team

About the role

LAUTEC is seeking a full‑time Financial Controller to join its finance team in Skopje. You will be involved in day‑to‑day finance operations across the Group’s global offices while gradually taking on responsibilities for data quality and systems integration.

Key responsibilities

• Support bookkeeping and invoice processing for all LAUTEC Group entities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Help ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with external accountants.
• Prepare financial reports and analyse performance, expenditures and profitability.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting under the Head of Finance.
• Maintain and improve the structure, accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of the finance function, especially around data management and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or finance operations, preferably in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Hands‑on approach to routine finance tasks such as invoice processing and payments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a willingness to develop data‑driven workflow automation.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently across borders and time zones.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups, basic automation).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP/accounting platforms (e.g., E‑conomic, Business Central or similar).
