Group Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Group Controller to join DEPT®’s global finance team in Skopje. The role will partner with local finance teams and provide accurate, timely reporting to stakeholders while ensuring IFRS compliance across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, including ad‑hoc analyses, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, coordinating with local finance, FP&A, tax and valuation teams.
• Serve as the group‑wide subject‑matter expert on IFRS, performing technical reviews, drafting position papers and delivering training.
• Support the consolidation of the annual report and oversee post‑acquisition accounting adjustments.
• Interface with external auditors for annual and statutory audits, ensuring timely filing and compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in finance, with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proven experience with consolidated accounting and external reporting under IFRS.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.
