Lead Engineer – AI‑Enhanced Software Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer who blends deep technical expertise with strong consulting and client‑engagement skills. This hands‑on leadership position involves architecting modern software, leveraging AI as a productivity multiplier, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performance backend systems, APIs, integrations and distributed services.
• Lead technical architecture discussions, set engineering standards and drive software quality through code reviews, automated testing and observability.
• Use AI tools daily to improve productivity and develop AI‑enhanced applications, intelligent workflows and multi‑agent solutions.
• Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business challenges into solution designs and support pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert‑level backend knowledge in Java.NET or Python and solid frontend experience.
• Extensive cloud, microservices and architecture expertise; hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Terraform.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and consulting experience, with ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Java.NET, Python, at least one frontend technology.
• REST APIs, event‑driven systems, microservices, distributed architectures.
• Relational and NoSQL databases, design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code.
• Azure, AWS or GCP; Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, security best practices.
• AI tools: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Windsurf; LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel.
