Management Accountant – French GAAP & Global Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to turn financial data into actionable insights for a global finance team. The role combines French GAAP expertise with strong analytical abilities to support decision‑making across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly close, preparing profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis and present performance trends to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Coordinate with a local French accounting firm to ensure French GAAP compliance for audit and tax purposes.
• Maintain internal controls, prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee French payroll, VAT compliance and related tax matters.
• Drive financial system improvements, automation initiatives and data‑quality enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and ability to work in French.
