Mid/Senior Data Engineer with French

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑to‑Senior Data Engineer who is fluent in French to join a new team serving a major French banking group. The role is based in our offices in Bulgaria or North Macedonia and will work on building scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows that integrate data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across the platform.
• Transform and prepare data for analytics, reporting and business intelligence.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot production issues and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and business stakeholders to deliver data requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment and release of data solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Good knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR/XLD and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence systems.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
