Sales Manager - Business Development

About the role

Sentice, a boutique software development house founded in 2013, is hiring its first dedicated Sales Manager. This is a founder-led role where you will build the sales function from the ground up, owning new business end to end, from finding the right companies to signing the contract, working closely with the founders and the technical leads.

Key responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through LinkedIn, email, phone, referrals and events.
• Plan and run targeted marketing and paid campaigns with management.
• Lead discovery meetings and pitch Sentice to CEOs, CTOs and product owners.
• Prepare proposals with the delivery team, negotiate terms and close contracts.
• Manage the CRM and report on pipeline and forecast.
• Build a repeatable sales process that a future team can follow.

Required profile

• 4+ years in B2B sales, including at least 2 years selling software development, IT outsourcing or IT services to international clients.
• A proven record of new-business deals you sourced and closed yourself.
• Hands-on experience across the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract.
• Fluent English (C1 or above) and fluent Macedonian.
• Based in North Macedonia, able to work from the office and travel abroad occasionally.
• Nice to have: an existing network in DACH, the UK, the Nordics, Benelux or the US; a good grasp of AI and modern software delivery; experience as a first sales hire.
