Senior Accountant

About the role

Limak Skopje is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team and support the financial management of a large mixed‑use development project in the heart of the city. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Support the Finance team with accounting, reporting and other financial tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Familiarity with local accounting software; experience with PANTHEON is a plus.
