Senior React SDK Developer

About the role

As a Senior React SDK Developer you will join Stream’s SDK team, focusing on developing and maintaining the React Chat, Feeds and Video SDKs. The position is based in Skopje with a hybrid schedule (three days in‑office).

Key responsibilities

• Integrate new features from the product roadmap into the SDKs.
• Maintain and improve existing SDK functionality.
• Support existing customers and prospects through various channels.
• Enhance SDK documentation and keep the libraries up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with Backend, Design and other SDK teams to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Startup background with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience contributing to open‑source projects and building developer tools.
• Strong understanding of React, its ecosystem and browser performance.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and a focus on accessibility and UX detail.
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques such as state management, memoisation and virtualization.
