Financial Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Finance Accountant will ensure accurate execution of accounting processes across assigned entities and business areas. You will focus on transaction processing, reconciliations, month‑end activities, financial controls, and maintaining complete supporting documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting journals.
• Process accruals, pre‑payments, fixed assets and recurring entries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Perform bank, vendor, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Review supplier invoices and support payment runs.
• Support VAT and withholding tax processes.
• Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Perform intercompany recharges where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Lookups and Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
