Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

A hotel in Skopje is looking for an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead its F&B operations. The role covers restaurant, bar, room service, banqueting and event services, with a focus on service excellence, cost control and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily F&B operations and set operational procedures and service standards, in line with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health and safety regulations
• Work with the Executive Chef to coordinate kitchen and service teams
• Manage F&B budgets, forecasts and profitability, and monitor revenue, food and beverage costs, payroll and waste
• Control inventory, purchasing and stock, and optimise staffing and labour costs
• Apply pricing, menu engineering and upselling strategies, and work with Sales & Marketing on promotions and corporate functions
• Resolve guest complaints and build guest satisfaction
• Lead, train and evaluate the F&B team, manage schedules and foster a positive workplace

Required profile

• 3-5 years of F&B management experience, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
• Proven experience managing restaurant, bar and banquet operations
• Strong understanding of F&B financial management, budgeting and cost control
• Excellent communication skills in Macedonian and English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle several priorities at once
