HR Specialist – Recruitment & Employee Relations

About the role

We are expanding our HR team and are looking for a responsible and experienced HR Specialist to support daily employee‑related processes at Žito Marketi.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: review applications, conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date personnel files, attendance records, leave, vacation and sick‑leave tracking.
• Monitor legal regulations and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and analyses on hiring, turnover, absences and other key metrics.
• Participate in performance appraisal, employee development and training initiatives.
• Support onboarding and integration of new hires.
• Organise internal events, team‑building activities and motivation programmes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes aligned with company goals.
• Handle additional HR tasks as required.

Required profile

• Higher education in Human Resources Management, Law, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR position.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, selection and interview techniques.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of responsibility, professionalism, discretion and dedication.
• Proactive, result‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Driver’s licence category B is a plus.
