IT Systems Administrator

About the role

An IT Systems Administrator is sought to join a team in Skopje, working independently on-site while being part of a globally distributed IT team based in Malta, Germany and Canada. The role suits someone who is proactive, technically skilled and comfortable working autonomously with strong remote collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and operate client systems, and ensure smooth operation of systems, network functions and IT security protocols.
• Manage user administration: account creation, modification, deactivation and access rights.
• Provide technical support for IT solutions and products, perform hardware repairs, set up workstations and configure routers and switches.
• Deliver 1st and 2nd level support, troubleshoot issues and document them.
• Maintain and monitor WAN/LAN networks and multimedia equipment.
• Collaborate on global infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows client platforms, networking, troubleshooting and IT support (hardware/desktop).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and software deployment.
• Good English communication skills and interest in emerging technologies.

Nice to have

• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Linux proficiency and Bash scripting.
• Experience supporting Apple MacBook devices.
