Line Balance Officer

About the role

DMM Dräxlmaier Manufacturing Macedonia is looking for a Line Balance Officer to support its Operations Engineering department at its plant in Kavadarci. The role focuses on improving assembly line performance, cycle times and worker efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Balance assembly lines and optimize the workload of workers
• Define and optimize cycle times and throughput times
• Carry out time studies and define production norms
• Analyze workforce utilization, assembly line layout, operational data, production schedules and costs to find optimum worker efficiency
• Plan, apply and analyze auxiliary tools for assembly lines
• Review bills of material (routings) and cooperate in change management
• Improve the ergonomics of the assembly workplace and work with other departments on continuous process improvement

Required profile

• Technical university degree
• Ability to analyze complex manufacturing data and propose changes that increase efficiency and safety
• Excellent English proficiency
• Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage

Required skills

• Good command of the MS Office package
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
