Setter - Cable Cutting Department

About the role

DMM Dräxlmaier Manufacturing Macedonia is looking for a Setter for its factory in Kavadarci, in the cable cutting department, to support production and meet the demands of the international market. The position suits someone open, flexible and enthusiastic.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the causes of defects and shutdowns in simple equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components, using diagnostic systems when needed.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks on complex technical equipment such as fixtures, machinery and instruments.
• Support the installation and relocation of technical equipment such as tools, machinery and instruments.
• Adjust the crimping equipment.
• Monitor equipment operation to detect malfunctions and check that machine setups match specifications.
• Identify weak areas and report them.

Required profile

• Secondary education; secondary technical school preferred.
• Knowledge of standardised work routines and methods, and general facts and information.
• One year of experience in DRX is preferable.
• Problem-solving, analytical skills and self-initiative.
