Principal Workplace Architect

About the role

The Principal Workplace Architect will lead the design and implementation of modern workplace solutions for a global client base. Working within a hybrid cloud environment, you will translate business requirements into technical building blocks that support end‑users, citizen developers and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical domain lead for Workplace architecture across IT projects.
• Develop and document functional and non‑functional technical architectures.
• Define strategic Workplace architecture plans, road‑maps and technology catalogues.
• Gather and validate stakeholder requirements to propose suitable Workplace technologies.
• Lead or contribute to RFI/RFP processes and technology studies.
• Perform market and industry analysis for Workplace solutions.
• Ensure proper implementation, configuration and governance of Workplace designs.
• Communicate target architectures, capability frameworks and principles to technical and business audiences.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering modern digital workplace solutions.
• Strong ability to think architecturally across multiple technology domains.
• Proven track record of engaging with business representatives and technical SMEs.
• Experience working in a global, DevOps‑driven environment.
