QA Engineer – Fintech Automation

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a leading fintech technology provider. You will help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of web applications used by global financial institutions, working within Agile Scrum teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to understand product requirements and user stories.
• Develop and maintain API and browser‑based automation using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to create release gates.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing for high‑risk, edge‑case scenarios, especially those involving regulatory‑sensitive functionality.
• Leverage AI tools and agents to generate test plans, expand coverage, triage failures, and accelerate QA activities.
• Execute load testing (e.g., JMeter) and ensure strong automation coverage across critical workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience testing web‑based applications with both manual and automated approaches.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across development and testing teams.
