Senior Accountant

About the role

UltaHost, a fast‑growing global web hosting and cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, supporting payment processing across multiple channels, and ensuring accurate financial records for an international business.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online with proper coding and documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations for fiat and cryptocurrency accounts, investigating variances.
• Manage payment operations across Stripe, other gateways, and crypto wallets, including deposits, withdrawals, fees and FX/crypto revaluation.
• Oversee end‑to‑end invoicing, collections and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and reconcile payment processor balances to the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing financial, management and regulatory reports.
• Support fraud prevention, chargeback handling and crypto‑specific transaction monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and advanced Excel/data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and high attention to detail.
• Experience in web hosting, cloud, SaaS or IT industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with online payment systems like Stripe and cryptocurrency transactions is advantageous.
