Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for Cylindo across its entities in Denmark, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role ensures accurate financial records, timely month‑end close, compliance with local regulations and strong financial controls in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments, payroll, revenue and intercompany transactions.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for all entities and support the month‑end close process.
• Record subscription revenue, reconcile ARR/MRR reports and assist with revenue recognition in line with applicable standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitor aged receivables and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage intercompany transactions, foreign‑exchange adjustments and multi‑currency accounting.
• Assist with VAT, payroll tax and other statutory filings in Denmark, North Macedonia, the UK and the US.
• Prepare documentation for annual statutory financial statements and support external audits.
• Maintain internal controls and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accountant with strong accounting skills and experience in an international, multi‑entity business.
• Familiarity with SaaS revenue models and multi‑currency environments.
• Ability to collaborate with finance, sales and customer‑success teams.
• Valid work/residence permit for Bitola or Skopje, North Macedonia.
