About the role

Avenga is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to design scalable solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify problems, opportunities, and objectives.
• Challenge vague requirements and provide constructive feedback to ensure value‑driven outcomes.
• Analyze high‑impact business problems and contribute to sustainable, long‑term solution design.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support risk‑management activities.
• Define, gather, and document structured business requirements aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Validate that implemented solutions meet expectations, are cost‑efficient, and deliver quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the organization’s knowledge framework and support knowledge transfer across teams.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, capable of working independently on complex problems.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and business audiences.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design.
• Ability to identify risks and support data‑driven decision making.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
