Bridge Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Manager to lead the construction of bridges, viaducts, culverts, retaining walls and other civil structures for a railway project in North Macedonia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction of bridges and related civil structures in line with schedule, specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee foundation, sub‑structure and super‑structure works, including piling, reinforced concrete, precast and prestressed concrete.
• Manage construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination across work fronts.
• Plan workforce, equipment and material requirements and monitor progress against targets.
• Review drawings, construction methods and temporary works, and resolve technical issues with engineers and designers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of civil construction experience, with substantial bridge and structural work.
• At least 10 years of bridge construction experience on railway, highway or major infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role leading construction teams and subcontractors.
• Strong site experience in foundations, reinforced concrete structures and bridge superstructures.
