Head of Growth Marketing

About the role

Carry1st Shop is a direct‑to‑consumer storefront for in‑game currency and digital goods across Africa and the Middle East. We are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to own acquisition, retention and win‑back of customers profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Own paid acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat and app networks, managing budget, CAC and payback.
• Build and run CRM and lifecycle programs (segmentation, onboarding, repeat purchase, cross‑sell, win‑back) via push, email, SMS and WhatsApp.
• Optimize app‑store conversion and allocate budget across channels, markets and titles based on unit economics.
• Partner with data team to create a trusted view of acquisition performance, including attribution and incrementality testing.
• Lead a team of paid UA and creative specialists, setting creative briefs and testing processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years in growth or performance marketing within gaming, e‑commerce or consumer apps.
• Proven track record of scaling paid acquisition and CRM/lifecycle programs with measurable results (CAC, ROAS, retention, reactivation).
• Ability to define quarterly growth strategy and execute campaigns quickly.
• Experience working in fast‑moving, remote, growth‑stage environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with mobile measurement partners such as AppsFlyer and Adjust.
• Proficiency in analytics tools for experiment design and unit‑economics analysis.
• Knowledge of performance creative testing and creative brief development.
