Senior Accountant – Multi-Entity SaaS (Hybrid)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting for Cylindo’s entities in Denmark, North Macedonia, the UK and the US. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role ensures accurate financial records, timely month‑end close and compliance with local regulations in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency SaaS environment. The position is based in Bitola or Skopje with hybrid working options.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, payroll, revenue, intercompany, etc.).
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for all entities.
• Support month‑end close process and preparation of monthly accounts.
• Record subscription revenue, deferred revenue and reconcile ARR/MRR reports.
• Assist with revenue recognition in line with applicable standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitor aged receivables and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage intercompany transactions, multi‑currency accounting and foreign‑exchange adjustments.
• Support VAT, payroll tax and other statutory filings in Denmark, North Macedonia, the UK and the US.
• Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external accountants.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and revenue recognition for SaaS businesses.
• Familiarity with multi‑currency accounting and cross‑border transactions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with finance and other departments.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on internal controls and process improvement.
• Valid work/residence permit for the location in North Macedonia.
