Senior Product Owner – Sportsbook Backend Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our Sportsbook back‑end platform. You will act as the single product authority, shaping vision, prioritising work, and driving measurable outcomes across engineering, operations, and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product roadmap for the Sportsbook back‑end, from discovery through post‑launch optimisation.
• Define and communicate product vision, aligning engineering, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Lead product discovery, hypothesis generation, requirements gathering, scoping and solution design.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog and make autonomous prioritisation decisions.
• Author detailed product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and visual aids.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment with engineering, operations, compliance and external partners.
• Define, track and iterate on success metrics and measurement frameworks.
• Oversee UAT, release readiness and quality standards before launch.
• Represent the product in stakeholder forums, leadership reviews and partner discussions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product documentation and internal wikis.
• Continuously assess live product performance, identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Mentor junior Product Owners and raise overall product practice quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior product leadership role.
• Deep familiarity with back‑end systems and the gambling/sportsbook industry.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, make high‑impact decisions and be accountable for results.
