Senior Programme Assistant – OSCE Skopje

About the role

The OSCE Mission in Skopje is seeking a Senior Programme Assistant to support the Chief of Community Outreach in research, coordination, and administrative functions across a range of security‑related programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research, data collection and analysis, and draft decision memoranda, strategic papers and project proposals.
• Prepare and review correspondence, briefing materials, reports and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support project development and delivery, compile programme reports and manage budget planning, monitoring and procurement requests.
• Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, coordinate joint activities and facilitate information flow.
• Provide translation and interpretation between English and the local language, and manage the Chief’s schedule and archive.

Required profile

• Citizenship or permanent residence in North Macedonia.
• At least six years of experience in administrative or programme support, preferably in an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting and financial management.
• Excellent drafting, communication and research skills, with ability to handle confidential information.
• Proven translation and interpretation ability between English and the local language.
