ServiceNow PPM Product Owner

About the role

Avenga is an international engineering firm that helps businesses embed AI at their core. The ServiceNow PPM Product Owner will combine product ownership experience with deep technical expertise in ServiceNow and telecommunications environments to drive portfolio management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the PPM product vision, roadmap, and release priorities.
• Own backlog refinement and prioritization across enhancements, integration requirements, technical debt, and operational improvements.
• Translate PMO and user needs into clear requirements for demand intake, assessment, project planning, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
• Partner with technical teams to evaluate solution options, challenge unnecessary customisation, and assess integration and platform impacts.
• Guide acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality against agreed business outcomes.
• Establish reporting requirements and product success measures covering adoption, data quality, portfolio performance, and delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience owning a product roadmap and managing a prioritized backlog for ServiceNow PPM/SPM or comparable enterprise portfolio management platforms.
• Strong understanding of demand, project, portfolio, resource, and financial management, including capacity planning and investment prioritisation.
• Technical expertise in ServiceNow implementation, configuration, workflows, data models, access controls, and integrations, preferably within complex telecommunications IT environments.
• Ability to discuss APIs, data flows, integration dependencies, and technical constraints with architects and development teams and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Understanding of telecommunications processes such as network rollout, service delivery, and field operations and their relationship to project planning and portfolio priorities.
