Software Developer in Test – Cypress Automation

About the role

Hornetsecurity is looking for a Software Developer in Test to ensure the highest quality of its award‑winning Microsoft 365 protection products. You will join a fast‑growing, international team in Skopje, working full‑time on both on‑premise and cloud‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress.
• Write and execute functional, regression, and integration tests for single‑page applications, RESTful services, and Windows desktop products.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies, provide estimates, and contribute to documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot defects and improve test coverage.
• Develop and maintain custom automation tools in C# when required.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and debugging abilities.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new testing techniques.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Relevant testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) or background in networking/security is a plus.
