Customer Sales Representative

About the role

HMD Transport, an asset‑backed freight brokerage based in Chicago, is expanding its team in Skopje. As a Customer Sales Representative you will build and nurture client relationships to drive profitability and customer satisfaction across North American transportation modes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source potential customers using industry tools and existing relationships.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts while meeting margin and volume targets.
• Quote customers, provide up‑to‑date information and track bid status.
• Update customers on load progress and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations and Carrier Sales teams to deliver quality results.
• Monitor market trends and seasonality to inform sales strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in the transportation industry.
• Knowledge of truckload lanes and rates.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Service‑oriented with strong customer interaction skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiastic and goal‑driven.
