Functional Consultant - Microsoft Business Central

About the role

A fast-growing international company is looking for a Functional Consultant for Microsoft Business Central to join its team. The consultant works with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, improve processes and deliver practical Business Central solutions, acting as the link between business requirements and technical implementation alongside developers and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clients' business processes and requirements and translate them into Business Central solutions.
• Configure and optimise Business Central according to client needs.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities with clients.
• Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams during implementation, from requirements gathering through testing and go-live.
• Perform functional testing, support data migration and integrations, and conduct user training, workshops and demonstrations.
• Provide functional support and resolve user issues, and stay up to date with updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
• Knowledge of Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory or Warehouse Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good command of English, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Nice to have: Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central implementation or upgrade projects, Power BI, Power Automate or other Power Platform tools, integrations and APIs, data migration, Business Central certification.
