HR Specialist Level 3 – EMEA

About the role

Remote People is seeking an experienced HR Specialist Level 3 for the EMEA region. The role serves as the senior escalation point for complex employee cases within the company's Employer of Record (EOR) service, ensuring compliant and clear resolutions for employees and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior escalation point for complex and sensitive employee cases across EMEA.
• Own end‑to‑end cases that cannot be resolved by Level 1 and Level 2 HR teams.
• Manage escalations related to contracts, onboarding, leave, payroll and benefits, employee relations, and off‑boarding.
• Investigate issues, assess risk, identify root causes and determine appropriate resolution paths.
• Support employees and clients via ticketing system, email and calls, including sensitive conversations and de‑escalation.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and regional stakeholders to resolve cases.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in ticketing and HR systems.
• Identify recurring issues and document processes and guidance to prevent future escalations.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Services, Shared Services HR, Employee Relations, EOR, PEO or similar environments.
• Strong multi‑country EMEA HR knowledge, especially Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany and France.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex HR escalations and sensitive employee cases.
• Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle including documentation, leave, payroll, benefits, relations and off‑boarding.
• Excellent written and spoken English with confident, empathetic communication.
• Strong judgment and decision‑making skills.
