Talent Screener – Remote (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a focused Talent Screener to join our remote recruiting team. Working Monday‑Friday, 9 AM‑5 PM PST, you will be the first point of contact for candidates, ensuring only qualified applicants move forward in the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Screen every candidate handed off by the Talent Sourcer without re‑qualifying them before scheduling.
• Review applicants from all other sources against defined knockout criteria and success profiles.
• Advance qualified candidates to a screening interview and escalate ambiguous profiles to the assigned Recruiter.
• Conduct live video screening interviews using an approved guide and scorecard, assessing qualifications, work authorization, location, relocation feasibility, and compensation expectations.
• Record outcomes, dispositions, and scores in the applicant tracking system within defined SLAs.
• Report recurring quality issues in sourced handoffs to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Maintain data hygiene, deduplication, and compliance with retention and privacy requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured interview guides.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, able to adapt tone for diverse candidate backgrounds.
• Ability to make quick, data‑driven decisions while adhering to approved disposition codes.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for data entry and reporting.
• Experience conducting video interviews using platforms such as Zoom or Teams.
