Payroll Data Specialist – Remote

About the role

Native Teams is a fast‑scaling fintech startup that helps freelancers, employees and businesses manage work payments across borders. We are looking for a Payroll Data Specialist to join our remote‑first team and ensure the accuracy and consistency of payroll data across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Add, update and manage data within various payroll software platforms.
• Maintain data consistency and accuracy, conducting regular audits to verify completeness.
• Identify, investigate and correct discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Implement and monitor data‑cleaning processes to improve usability and clarity.
• Align data structures with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
• Provide regular updates on data quality and accuracy to relevant teams.
• Recommend and use tools for data entry, validation and reporting.

Required profile

• Prior experience in data entry, quality assurance or database management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with various teams.
• Analytical mindset for improving data processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Experience using data visualization software.
• Familiarity with admin dashboards, CRMs or other data‑management tools.
