Product Business Analyst (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

MAK-SYSTEM is seeking a Product Business Analyst to cover a maternity leave. Based in Skopje, you will work closely with product, engineering, quality, regulatory and client success teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation that drives software development for blood, plasma, tissue and cell management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to gather, analyse, document and validate business and user requirements.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality artefacts such as user stories, use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements that support product development and delivery.
• Work with Engineering and QA to clarify requirements, support solution design and ensure testable implementation.
• Analyse customer feedback, business processes, product usage data and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support market, customer and competitive research to inform product decisions.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, dependency mapping and impact assessments.
• Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, gaps and complexities that may affect delivery.
• Prepare release documentation, training materials and user guidance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements and manage expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis within software product environments.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills, ensuring clarity and traceability.
• Capability to translate complex business needs into actionable specifications.
• Experience analysing feedback, usage data and operational processes to drive product optimisation.
• Attention to detail in risk, dependency and impact assessment.
