Senior Cloud Engineer (C++/.NET)

About the role

Intertec is looking for a Senior C++/.NET Cloud Engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable cloud‑native applications as part of a large enterprise SaaS solution. You will work in an agile environment, mentor team members and ensure high‑quality code delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud‑native micro‑services and multi‑tenant solutions with tenant isolation, authentication, and per‑tenant scaling.
• Maintain and develop cross‑platform C++ modules for cloud‑first and mobile applications, and migrate legacy C++ code to modern .NET/C++ versions.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions for containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Define monitoring, observability and security practices using Azure services, Prometheus, Grafana and Application Insights.
• Guide teams on cloud strategy, performance optimisation, reliability, security and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of .NET/C# development and 3+ years of C++ development with interoperability experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns (SOLID, CQRS, DI) and REST API development.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure (AKS, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus) and container technologies.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively in Scrum teams.
