Senior Frontend Engineer – UX/UI Team

About the role

Join Hornetsecurity’s UX/UI team in Skopje as a Senior Frontend Engineer. You will work closely with designers and product managers to create modern, secure cybersecurity applications while evolving our Design System.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new features together with designers and the product team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company‑wide Design System.
• Collaborate on the architecture of Hornetsecurity’s micro‑frontend ecosystem.
• Introduce enhancements to the tech stack, adopt best practices and leverage the latest frontend innovations.
• Fix bugs, including your own, while supporting a low‑bug environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with at least one major frontend framework (Vue, Angular, React or Svelte).
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and package managers such as NPM.
• Commitment to quality through automated testing and code reviews.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Interest in UX/UI topics is a strong plus.
