Senior Funding Operations Specialist

About the role

The Senior Funding Operations Specialist orchestrates all AWS funding programs at Loka, managing requests from submission through reconciliation. This role ensures compliance, optimizes approvals, and reduces financial risk while supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and submit all AWS funding requests, maintaining a centralized tracking system with details on owners, programs, dates, and status.
• Review program guidelines regularly to ensure eligibility and internal policy compliance.
• Act as liaison between AWS account teams, Sales, Finance, PM, and Engineering to share updates on funding availability and program changes.
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly dashboards summarising active, approved, and closed funding requests.
• Audit submissions for accuracy, budget alignment, and compliance; collect supporting materials before approval.
• Update request statuses in real time, collaborate with Finance on invoicing, and mitigate clawback risk.
• Continuously improve workflows, templates, and documentation; lead ad‑hoc training sessions on funding programs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of program coordination and administration experience, preferably in technology services or consulting.
• Proven record of adhering to program guidelines, data validation, and documentation review.
• Familiarity with AWS services and AWS funding mechanisms is a strong plus.
