Senior Google Ads Buyer, DTC eCommerce (Remote)

About the role

Sweat Pants Agency works with around 50 DTC and eCommerce brands, spending millions each month on Meta and Google, and is looking for a remote Senior Google Ads Buyer. You will own a set of DTC accounts end to end, from account manager to strategist, with budgets from $5k to well over six figures per month. The role is fully remote; the only hard requirement is being able to take client calls during US Eastern business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client relationship and present results, plans and reasoning, with no account manager in between
• Audit every account before changes: campaign structure, keywords, negatives, bidding, impression share, feed health, landing pages, audiences and conversion tracking, then walk the client through findings
• Treat brand and non-brand traffic separately, optimise to NC-CPA and NC-ROAS, and run holdouts to prove incremental impact
• Manage PMax, Demand Gen and YouTube, and keep Google's automation under control by auditing auto-applied recommendations and assets
• Own Merchant Center hygiene and product feeds, and ensure GA4, GTM, Shopify goal imports and offline conversion imports reconcile
• Diagnose bottlenecks (creative, offer, AOV, landing page, checkout, tracking) and build landing pages, scripts and reports yourself

Required profile

• Hands-on Google Ads experience on real DTC and eCommerce spend, with CPA, ROAS and revenue results you can explain
• Fluent English at native or near-native level, able to explain your thinking to clients and push back on mediocre requests
• Skeptical of your own numbers and willing to run holdouts
• AI native: uses tools such as Claude as a working tool and can build and ship a landing page with it
• Willing to work US Eastern business hours for client calls; location is flexible
