Senior Management Accountant & Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑driven Senior Management Accountant/Financial Analyst to strengthen our Group Finance function. You will own month‑end reporting, support statutory and tax compliance, and provide financial insight to senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month‑end close for the group and subsidiaries, preparing management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis, balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Support group consolidation, inter‑company eliminations and adjustments.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, assist with corporation tax data and audit deliverables.
• Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and technology teams, providing proactive financial insight.
• Assist finance integration activities for mergers, acquisitions and hive‑ups, contributing to system optimisation, especially NetSuite ERP.

Required profile

• Newly qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
• Strong experience in month‑end reporting, tax returns and audit support.
• Background in high‑growth, technology‑focused or multi‑entity environments.
• Exposure to group consolidations, mergers or hive‑up processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modern finance systems; NetSuite ERP is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset and confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
