Technical Proposal Writer

About the role

WEglobal is seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to join its Business Development Unit. The role focuses on preparing and submitting proposals for EU and other international donor‑funded projects, helping the organization meet its strategic objectives on the global stage.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Business Development Unit throughout all stages of tender preparation, from initial research to final submission.
• Draft and edit technical sections of proposals to ensure compliance with European Commission, World Bank, UN agencies, FCDO and other funding requirements.
• Coordinate with internal experts to gather technical data, budgets and implementation plans.
• Maintain a repository of templates, guidelines and best practices for proposal development.
• Monitor deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight time constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Familiarity with European Commission tender procedures and other international financing institutions.
• Proven experience in drafting technical proposals for international tenders.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Strong research, analytical and writing abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Highly self‑motivated and comfortable in a challenging environment.
