Freelance Remote Albanian-English Interpreter

About the role

We are looking for fluent Albanian‑English bilingual speakers to join our remote interpreting team. You will provide over‑the‑phone (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) services for a variety of high‑stakes situations, such as healthcare and legal settings. No prior experience is required – we supply full training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, real‑time consecutive interpretation between English and Albanian.
• Facilitate clear communication in high‑pressure environments, including medical and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, neutrality, and professional conduct at all times.
• Manage your own schedule, log in reliably, and handle incoming interpretation calls.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in both English and Albanian.
• Strong active listening, cultural sensitivity, and emotional resilience.
• Ability to work from a quiet, distraction‑free home environment.
• Beginners are welcome; prior interpreting experience is a plus.
