Senior .NET Software Engineer

About the role

Deltatre is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join its backend team building high‑scale OTT streaming, website, app and live broadcast platforms. The role is hybrid, requiring at least one day per week on‑site in Skopje.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust, scalable, high‑performance solutions for OTT streaming, apps, websites and live broadcast systems.
• Lead technical discussions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and deliver new features in a Scrum/Agile environment.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases, ensuring scalability and performance using GitHub for version control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, own CI/CD pipelines, and work with cloud services, containers and virtual machines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a .NET back‑end engineer or similar role.
• Proven ability to design, build and ship high‑load services that handle millions of concurrent users.
• Hands‑on experience with both NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL (MS SQL Server) databases.
• Experience with microservices, event‑driven architecture and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong automated‑testing discipline and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
