Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Avenga is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to own and manage corporate business applications and related services. The role ensures operational stability, governance, security, compliance, and service performance while acting as a key escalation point for critical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate L2/L3 support teams and manage vendor contracts, licenses, SLAs, and overall service performance.
• Drive IT governance initiatives, including LeanIX, ServiceNow, disaster recovery, backup, and SLA compliance.
• Lead security and risk activities such as ITPF controls, vulnerability management, and OneGRC/Brinqa processes.
• Ensure SOX compliance, support audits, control walkthroughs, and remediation activities.
• Manage application budgets, forecasts, and project funding, and lead migrations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in IT Service Management and ITIL practices.
• Proven expertise in Business Application Management and IT governance.
• Solid understanding of SOX compliance, risk management, and vulnerability management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with senior business and IT leaders.
