Employee Logistics

About the role

Gerresheimer seeks an Employee Logistics professional to manage import and export activities, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials, finished products, and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate import and export processes, including tariff classification and customs documentation.
• Organize and monitor transport shipments, book vehicles, and ensure correct invoicing by haulers.
• Maintain communication with buyers, suppliers, shipping agents, and customs authorities.
• Track legal and regulatory changes and improve internal import/export procedures.
• Provide accurate record‑keeping and reporting of material status in line with Macedonian customs requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in customs, freight forwarding or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, or a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet short deadlines, and solve problems dynamically.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of logistics processes (shipping, warehouse management, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office, MES, and SAP.
• Understanding of customs and export regulations.
