Human Resources Intern (People Operations)

About the role

Scopic, a fully remote software company, is launching an unpaid People Operations Internship Program for motivated students and recent graduates. Interns work alongside the People Ops team in a structured learning environment, supporting real HR initiatives for a distributed team across many countries. The internship is remote and intended for learning and training; outstanding interns may receive an offer to join full-time after the program.

Key responsibilities

• Support ongoing HR projects, gaining hands-on experience in performance management, employee engagement and people processes
• Assist with performance review cycles, including preparing forms, tracking completion and summarizing feedback
• Help plan and run engagement initiatives such as surveys, recognition programs and virtual team activities
• Analyze survey and feedback results and turn them into practical recommendations
• Assist in creating and updating HR documentation such as policies, onboarding materials and internal guides
• Take part in team discussions and planning meetings, and observe how People Ops workflows run remotely
• Gain exposure to HR tools, ATS platforms and AI-assisted HR practices, and collaborate with international colleagues

Required profile

• Currently studying Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Organizational Behavior or a related field, or recently graduated
• Strong written and spoken English (B2 level or above)
• Basic familiarity with HR concepts such as performance management, employee engagement, onboarding or recruitment
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable handling confidential information and able to learn through hands-on experience
• Previous professional experience is not required
