Senior Automation Quality Engineer

About the role

Avenga is seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for complex telecommunications systems. You will work with C#/.NET and Playwright to create robust UI, API, and integration tests, ensuring high quality releases in a CI/CD environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve automation frameworks using C#/.NET and Playwright.
• Develop UI, API, integration, end‑to‑end, and regression test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test stability.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to align testing strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
• Senior‑level experience designing test automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on expertise with Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of API and integration testing.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Upper‑intermediate English and strong communication skills.
