Senior Data Architect (Azure / Databricks / Cosmos DB)

About the role

Intetics is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise‑scale Azure data platforms. The role blends strategic architecture planning with hands‑on implementation across Azure services, Databricks, and modern data engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise‑scale data platform architectures on Azure, including Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Databricks.
• Assess existing data environments, identify scalability, performance and data‑quality improvements, and define both tactical and long‑term target‑state architectures.
• Create reusable, metadata‑driven ingestion frameworks and scalable data models for analytical platforms.
• Document architecture, technical specifications and implementation guidelines, and support engineering teams during adoption.

Required profile

• Proven end‑to‑end ownership of data architecture projects, with at least 4 years of recent Azure experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience modernizing existing data platforms and delivering implementation‑ready architecture deliverables.
