Video Editor - Social Media Content

About the role

Emapta is recruiting a Video Editor for its client, an award-winning independent creative content agency based in London that specialises in video production, branded storytelling and digital marketing. The role is full-time, mid-shift with weekends off, and is fully remote. You will edit social media content one day per week, adapting short-form TikToks and Reels to long-form podcast and YouTube videos.

Key responsibilities

• Edit the agency's social media content one day per week, with remote access to footage supplied by the creative team.
• Produce videos for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, from short-form TikToks and Reels to long-form podcast episodes and YouTube content.
• Adapt and repurpose edits for each platform with suitable hooks, aspect ratios, captions and pacing.
• Contribute original ideas, identify emerging trends, sounds and formats, and apply creative storytelling to reflect the agency's playful brand personality.
• Collaborate with the creative team, coordinate footage transfers, feedback and revisions, and support future client projects with video content tailored to different brand identities and campaign objectives.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of video editing experience, preferably in social media content, digital marketing or a creative agency.
• Proven experience editing for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, with a professional portfolio or showreel.
• Experience with both short-form social videos and long-form podcast or YouTube content.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to work independently and meet deadlines; reliable internet connection.
• Proactive, self-motivated and collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar video editing software.
• Understanding of social media trends, platform-specific formats and creative hooks.
